Change Methodology
Change Rx – Change Management Project Methodology (WIP edition)
Road map for managing organizational change projects
Change projects are often complex with substantial risk of failure. Further, the people tasked with change management often lack the experience needed for such an undertaking. The needed change expertise is available from consultants – for a price. NOW, that same expertise is available in a practical project methodology designed to help you through the planning, implementation, and evaluation of change management. The three phases of the change project have action steps supported with Change Best Practices and project worksheets that are easy to understand and easy to apply.
Upon completion of this course, you will understand how to manage a change project. Specific learning objectives for this course include:
· Gaining confidence to manage a change project
· Sufficient understanding of each step in the change project to act
· Knowing how to sequence steps including parallel tasks and transition points
· Determining remaining knowledge gaps for change management competency
Note that this course is a “work in process” – the full “Change Management Project Methodology” is available for download now with a complete set of supporting videos and worksheets in development. As a WIP edition, the course price will increase as video lectures are added over the next few months. However, all students enrolling now will receive the new content at no additional cost. Student feedback will drive my development schedule – what students need most will be developed first.
This Change Management Project Methodology can be used alone or in conjunction with another project management methodology you may already be using. However, in either case, some attention to detail is essential if you want to derive the full value of the methodology when designing, developing, and implementing your change project.
